The access yesterday morning was able to quickly solve the HMS dipole issues, allowing us to get back up and running for a productive day shift.

Shortly into the swing shift (~16:00), communication was lost with all of the SHMS magnets. Magnet on-call was able to fix this remotely.

Around 23:00, the 26 degree positron running concluded and the shift crew began moving the spectrometers to 20 degrees for the HMS and 8 degrees for the SHMS. The HMS was moved first and it stalled at 20.7 degrees causing a drive controller fault on both spectrometers. Dave Gaskell has the necessary training to do this work, so he accessed the hall shortly after midnight to reset the breakers. We were then able to continue moving the spectrometers and get them set where they need to be.

The owl shift then began productive data taking throughout the night.

During the 8am meeting, the HMS magnets tripped at the same time as the Hall B magnets quenching. After ~10 minutes the interlocks were able to reset.

There will be a down time this morning for the Hall A pass change and to change the wein angle. Accelerator said to expect ~4 hours of down time.

We will have the RC meeting at 11am today:
