Good news! The vacuum of the SHMS Q1 has been restored! Techs entered the hall at about 07:45. They removed the pump and found that the vacuum was sufficient.

All magnets have been ramped and we have entered beam permit. As soon as beam is restored, we will resume the data taking program with SHMS at 8 degrees and HMS at 20 degrees.

Thank you to all of the techs and engineers that put in so much time and effort this weekend to get this back up and running.

There will be an RC meeting today at 11. Dave Gaskell will be running the meeting today in my stead.
