We continued to take production data at the Pm = 900 MeV/c setting during yesterday's swing and owl shifts. After discussing with the spokespersons, we decided to change the run plan strategy and get the luminosity scans out of the way. The SHMS is currently setup to perform part ii of the luminosity scan plan. Since we won't use HMS for part ii, we went ahead and tried to rotate HMS to match part i of the scan plan. In doing so, we encountered issues where the HMS would rotate by a few degrees and freeze. Steve Lassiter had to reboot Skylla10 to revive continuous rotation (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4151118) and asked us to call the engineer-on-call in case we encounter this issue again.

Beam has just been restored to the hall and the current plan is to finish part ii of the scan plan, move to part i and afterwards, collect data at Pm = 580 MeV/c setting until Monday morning. After beam stops at 7:00 am, we will turn off all magnets and detectors. Radcon will eventually survey the hall and take it to restricted access. There will be no RC meetings over the weekend but feel free to communicate with me if anything comes up.
