[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Daily Update Nov/1/2023, and no RC meeting today

We took data since the last report. Smooth day and night data taking. Except for one small glitch in the DAQ which quickly resolved: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4212922 . One additional hour LD2 was ended to balance the statistics.

7 a.m. this morning, the beam stopped at 7 a.m. SHMS rotated to 37.9 degrees, the Sweeper turned off, target returned home. Radcon is currently sweeping the Hall, we are projected to enter restricted access by 8 a.m. HMS Q1 conveniently interlocked after beam stopped: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4213434

Once we close up, we will start with the optics run as the NPS temperature stabilizes. Further run instructions will be available soon.

No RC meeting today. Detailed maintenance updates will be given by the next RC.

I must say it was a pleasure serving as RC for the NPS experiment, my best wishes to it going forward.
