RC daily update -- 23rd November 2023

Happy Thanksgiving!

Summary:
Data taking on KinC_x50_1 and KinC_x50_1' for the NPS group of experiments in Hall C continues. We have had three productive shifts since the RC update yesterday, with only a couple of minor issues.

Issues:
1) The Moller polarimeter solenoid refrigerator tripped (see entry from Jay: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4225204). Dave Gaskell asked Ellen to take a look, which she did during a short escorted access at the beginning of Swing shift. The reason for the access was to see if she could diagnose the problem in order to plan for addressing it after the holiday weekend. The Moller measurement tentatively planned for Sunday will not now go ahead.

2) The raster IOC lost communication around 6.30am (iochlc2). MCC needed to take a short access to reboot it locally.

Plan for the day:
Continue the production cycles for KinC_x50_1 and KinC_x50_1' (and perhaps eat some of the turkey that the Hall A SL brought to the counting house).

Shift schedule:
There are some concerning gaps in the shift schedule for shifts that are fast approaching:
Saturday OWL TO
Monday OWL SL
Monday OWL TO

There will be no RC meeting today since it is a holiday. We'll plan to have a short meeting at the usual time tomorrow. I'll be at the counting house all day if anybody needs anything or you can get me on the RC phone.
