Yesterday was the high power beam study from 9am to around 2pm. We collected LH2 data for the first section of the test and moved the beam out of target when the beam study approached 40 uA in Hall C.

At the end of the beam study we performed a BCM calibration, thanks to the improvements from the high power test we were able to incorporate a 45 uA point into all three cycles of the calibration, and Dave Mack modified the procedure to make sure we went down to 2 uA, we believe that we ultimately collected some clean  BCM calibration data.

After the BCM calibration we returned to production running on kinematic setting 36_3 overnight. This has gone smoothly, except for some enduring DAQ stability issues, though it seems Alexandre has improved the situation substantially. There is also some issue executing the 50k replays that is currently being investigated, but Josh Crafts verified that the data is good and it is likely some issue with the 50k script possibly caused by some of the DAQ troubleshooting.

Tomorrow will be a maintenance day, so beam will be down from 8 AM to sometime in swing shift.
