After successful repair of the large Moller quad power supply, Hall C was locked up on swing shift, and we started the beam checkout and HMS commissioning.  After a little trouble with the target motion, we found the center of the carbon hole target (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4179977) and established the nominal beam positions (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4180020).  After a quick check of rates with the halo target in beam, the shift crew attempted the BPM calibration procedure.  Not all of the desired BPM positions were accessible, and in cases, the harps weren't able to see the beam.  We have 4 usable data points - we'll take a look and see if a couple more points are needed.

The HMS commissioning is nearly complete - all that remains is the initial optics checkout. At the moment, we are working with MCC to execute the NPS sweeper/corrector setup procedure while the NPS is still at larger angle (20 degrees) to get a first look at the calorimeter (we'll take this data while taking the HMS optics data).  Once this is complete, we'll proceed with the runplan with the NPS at smaller angle (12.12 degrees).
