[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Daily Report

We have been taking very smooth production runs over the weekend. The total ABUs for the past three shifts are 21.4 hours. Around 9:20 am, we started to change the configurations to the next kinematic setting KinC_x25_1. The HMS is rotated to 25.130 deg, and the SHMS is manually rotated to 25.615 deg. The NPS detector stays at 3.5 m. The HMS magnets are ramped up to 1.734 GeV. We plan to stay at this kinematics and take electron runs until Wednesday 8 pm then switch to take positron runs until Thursday 9 am.

The NPS chiller with low level alarm is filled today during the access. Looks like this will become a routine maintenance every 3 days with an escorted access. 

We lost the temperature monitoring of some NPS back crystal zone channels last night : https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4279896. When there is a longer down time, Josh would like to take a look and try to fix it. The estimation of the repair work is about 3 hours. 

One thing should be noticed by the shift workers: because the NPS detector is very close to the beam line (8.680 deg), please be cautious about the beam current. Higher beam current than requested may hurt the NPS detector. We would need to move the target out of beam if MCC request to do a high beam current calibrations etc.
