Last day, last pass change!

The pass change from 3 to 4-pass was completed yesterday, and stable beam was delivered to the hall by 1900h. A carbon hole run was taken and checked; with the beam looking in a good position (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4304673), we moved into the DIS calibration runs that we needed. Some slow spectrometer rotations and target movements have bitten more into our 12-hour estimate than planned, but the final run was completed at 0913h (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4305138). With this, the PD was informed that we were happy to move to 5-pass, and the procedure was started shortly afterwards (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4305145). The PD estimates that this pass change should take around 4-5 hours to complete, so we should have beam back by early SWING shift, at which point we shall go into the 5-pass DIS calibration kinematic sweep that has been discussed over the last few days. 

The exact details of this sweep are yet to be finalized, so we shall have an RC meeting to discuss plans and any potential issues that may arise before the SAD begins on Monday 0700h. For those in person: Counting House conference room, 1100h.
