During yesterday's day shift, accelerator performed RF recovery, and beam was unavailable for much of the shift. Hall C was put in restricted access to allow another dry run for today's VIP tour of the hall. This was done by 2pm. Beam came back around 5pm, and we resumed production running at the z=0.67 pi- kinematics. From then on, data taking went very smoothly. We finished z=0.67 and started the z=0.50 pi- kinematics at 2am. Beam was taken away at 7:30am this morning to prepare the hall for the actual VIP tour scheduled for 10:50am. We expect to resume production around noon.

The plan for Hall C through the weekend is to take production data without interruption as much as possible. Hall A will turn off Monday morning at 7am. Also on Monday during DAY, there will be a pass change for Hall B. The Wien angle change originally planned for Monday has been delayed until Thursday, August 28, to allow us to (Hall C) to finish the kinematics where polarized beam is important.

Current issues:
* There is some concern about odd-looking occupancies in some HMS 1X hodoscope channels (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4447091). This seems to be an intermittent problem. Bill Henry suggested the shift crews check the corresponding scaler readings and HVs.

Shifts (URGENT!):
* There is a trade request for tonight's SWING TO shift.
* The following upcoming OWL shifts need to be filled: Tuesday 8/26 (TO), Saturday 8/30 (TO), and Tuesday 9/2 (SL).
