We had smooth data collection up until the swing shift yesterday. Around 6:00 PM, an issue arose with the SHMS dipole. The on-call engineer was contacted and came to the counting house. She reached out to Ellen, and together they worked on restoring communication by resetting the FLEX interface. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue(https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4428448, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4428607, https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4428603).

We then requested controlled access. Sam and Peter, accompanied by Sara (ARM), went to the SHMS hut and unplugged/replugged the NMR box. They also disconnected and reconnected the two cables on the back, but that did not work either. As a final step, they manually ramped the current down to our setpoint of 1158.5 A.

Today, we completed the luminosity scan and have now moved to the z = 0.5 π+ SIDIS setting.
