Data taking has continued smoothly over the past 24 hours. The SHMS dipole remains in manual mode due to a communication issue. The related alarm has been silenced.

We are currently collecting data at the z = 0.5 π+ SIDIS setting. Given the situation, we do not expect any changes to the SHMS current before the scheduled maintenance day.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 7/30, is a beam studies/maintenance day. The hall will be entered through controlled access to allow Ellen to work on the SHMS dipole magnet.
If you require access to the hall during the day, please contact the RC in advance.

We will hold our regular RC meeting today at 2:30 PM. Zoom link is provided below.
