HI Ilya,
Thanks for the trigger specification. Did we want to have more than one TOF configuration active in order to monitor efficiencies?
Thanks, Elton

Hello everyone,
I am attaching the draft of a shirt specification sheet
for the CPP trigger. Please make comments and send suggestions.
I have also submitted CPP trigger rates note (GlueX doc id 4796).
Thank you,

Hi Sasha,
Ok. We will talk about preparing a short specification sheet based on his longer writeup and let you take a look at it.
Thanks, Elton.

Hi Elton,
This is a good news that we may be able to use the old firmware though
some tweaking will be required anyway because of the different TOF paddle
layout ( if you decide to use TOF). The easiest would be if Ilya can prepare a short
write up with specifications.
Cheers,
Sasha

Subject: Re: [Halld-cpp] FWD, CPP trigger disucssion
Hi Sasha,
The main issue that we want to determine is whether any firmware needs to be changed, because that could have substantial requirements on manpower and could become a scheduling problem. However, Ilya has come up with a strategy for the TOF trigger and he does not believe that any new firmware is required: all changes could be done by changing configuration files. We wanted to check this with you and verify that no new firmware is required. Ilya could go over his scheme with you (he also has a writeup) for comments. If no new firmware is required, then there is no urgency to develop a detailed plan for the Readiness Review. It should not take much time for you to confirm whether new firmware is needed or not. Perhaps that could be done next week?
Thanks, Elton.

Hi Elton,
December will be very busy, there are only a few weeks left before holidays,
and I am planing for some vacations. Let's come back to the meeting sometime
in January.
Actually, I don't believe that you need me at this stage. You have data you can
look at and decide on the algorithm (if you decide to use something different
from GlueX), which will work for you. I cannot help with that without looking on
data myself.
Cheers,
Sasha

HI Sasha,
Indeed, tomorrow is close to the holiday.
Could you confirm your attendance for next week Wed Dec 2 at 9:00 am? If Wed is not convenient for you, perhaps you can propose a couple of alternatives so that we can arrange to meet then. We need to get clarification on some trigger issues before our Readiness Review.
Thanks, Elton.

I am sorry Iliya,
The meeting with Sean and other guys was long today
(we were discussing preparation for the SRC/CT experiment).
If you have a meeting next week, I'll try to join.
Cheers,
Sasha

Hi Iliya,
I have a meeting with Sean at 9 am tomorrow (the meeting should not last more
than an hour). I can try to connect right after the meeting or we can meet during
next week.
Perhaps next week is better, I can reserve this time for the CPP. Let me know
how to proceed.
Cheers,
Sasha

Hi Sasha,
Please let us know if you will be able to connect tomorrow 9am to CPP meeting
or maybe let us know when you can do it: people are waiting to clarify CPP trigger organization details.
Thank you.
