Announcements, Eugene

      * Collaboration meeting
           + well organized
           + tour of BCAL factory was interesting
           + Decision on radiatoin hard insert
                o shaslik abandoned
                o crystals have advantages: resolution and existence
                     # add money for electronics
                     # magnetic shielding an issue
                     # frame complicated
                o collaboration seemed to decide to go for glass
                o need final decision soon to make manpower projections
                o glass procurement will have to start soon to be in time
      * Lehman review is coming, dry runs scheduled
      * appraisal cycle starting Oct. 1
      * accounts, end of fiscal year
           + DOPS all spent
           + some money in BIASOL, work should continue
           + 1.5 M$ in BIASOL in plan for FY11
           + this year 1.4 M$ spent
           + BIAGRP will be out of money, some redistribution of effort may
             be requested


Solenoid, George

      * over weekend re-calculated need for cladding on exterior of
        solenoid
           + 1 m air gap used previously
           + with 4 m air gap, FCAL in 260 G field, not 150 G.
           + Tim: FCAL good to 180 G, TOF good to 200 G
           + 4-m-air-gap calculation done in 3D, includes voids where feet
             penetrate
      * plans now: working on connecting up chimney: connections for cryo
        fluids in can leading to coil itself.
      * setting up electrical connections that go through helium and
        through insulation
      * going on Tom's plan
           + pump down near Oct. 1
      * Lehman review:
           + Tom not able to see advancing state so the cooling down can
             start before review
           + Glenn Young given a bunch of stuff on Friday
           + dry run on Monday


Solenoid, Elliott

      * electrical connections will be done tomorrow or the next day
      * then do piping connections
           + maybe done by Monday
      * controls
           + problem: getting Mark Wissmann's time
           + need remove test cables and put in real cables, need Mark W.'s
             OK
           + no big show stoppers anticipated


Engineering, Tim

      * clean room came in over budget, 294 k$, to be awarded soon
      * trailer goes in in January
      * telecom getting expensive
      * got fermi to get leak detector[?]


SiPM Tests, Yi

      * getting ready for radiation test
      * confirming that current SiPM's...[?]


LASS Magnet Current, Elton

      * 1250 A at SLAC is the lore (Steve St. Laurent)
      * LASS NIM paper: 2.24 Tesla at 1600 A


Dmitri Romanov, Mark

      * Started going over design document for calibration database.


FADC's on FDC Anodes, Lubomir

      * charge would be available for disambiguation
      * timing resolution being investigated
