[Halld-jlab] Extensive network scanning next week

To everyone responsible for computer equipment for Hall D,

Bob Lukens informed me that there will be extensive network scanning and 
penetration attempts next week.  There is a possibility that the 
scanning will crash certain types of embedded computer equipment.  If 
you are in the middle of important tests and cannot have your hardware 
scanned in this way, let me know and Bob will exclude that hardware from 
the test.

Alternatively, you can turn such equipment off if you don't want it scanned.
