[Halld-jlab] New Hall-D e-logbooks

Dear All,

  After a limited discussion at the online meeting last week regarding e-logs, I have
had the following logbooks added:

HDBCAL          Hall D Barrel Calorimeter
HDCDC           Hall D Central Drift Chamber
HDFDC           Hall D Forward Drift Chamber
HDTAGGER        Hall D Photon Tagger
HDTOF           Hall D Time of Flight
HDSTARTCOUNTER  Hall D Start Counter

In addition, I had the “HDFCALTEST” logbook renamed to just “HDFCAL”. To

I will admit that this action was not in response to any consensus at the meeting
but rather *a* solution in an environment where any consensus was unlikely (or
at least not without investing far more time than warranted on the subject).

This configuration is not necessarily forever. It is fairly easy to rename logbooks
and/or merge them in the future. So, I suggest we try this for the time being and
revisit the issue after having gained some experience and evidence that it somehow
hinders us.

Finally, I would like us to consider merging the entries in the “HDCOILTEST”
logbook into the “HDSOLENOID” logbook. This would just be to reduce the number
of Hall-D logbooks. If anyone has any objection though, just let me know and
we will leave it as it is.
