    Engineering, Tim

  * Magnet
      o re-doing power supply, dump transistors, 44 banks of them, show
        discoloration, being replaced
          + Danfysik issue bulletin on the issue
      o magnet still cold
  * HDList items that came through recently due to mass closing out of
    past issues
  * Nitrogen in vacuum vessel
      o Could freeze out on helium surfaces. George estimates that it is
        not a problem unless localized

  * Foreign object screen install downstream, one for upstream coming

    David

  * Online computers
      o gluon43 went down, new motherboard did not fix it, Paul Letta
        working on it
      o after kernel upgrade gluon40 stuck in BIOS after power on
      o Gluon49 went down for unknown reasons on Friday
  * will buy spare EMU node, network switch
  * regular meeting on level 3 have started
      o Adesh working on simulations including lower part photon energy
        spectrum
      o profiling front end, strange drop from 12 to 8 kHz
      o will work on real data tests as well
      o BDT work was now done 3 years ago
  * CPP
      o CPPsim work
      o hope to involve new post-doc
      o full-scale prototype muon chamber coming

    Simon

  * geometry
      o add 5.5 mm offset of CDC
      o other changes added
  * looking at REST V5 files
      o 2 channels for several particles
      o studying efficiencies

    Alexander A.

  * work on plugin for FDC, plots to show at future meetings
  * working on REST production framework
  * looking at target excitations; see Delta++ signal

    Sergey

  * New CODA: 3.06
  * AMD special computers still needed? Needs discussion/study

    Sascha

  * New F250 firmware
      o had threshold problem
      o new version needed
      o still doing tests
  * Ben has new CTP, GTP firmware ready
  * backplane changed on crate
  * looking at simulations for trigger studies, using RCDB C++ API from
    Dmitry Romanov
  * data quality:
      o trouble reproducing mode 7 data, threshold not correct, integral
        can be negative
      o introduce mask of bad channels
  * PS reconstruction
  * Students from UNCW
      o with spare PMTs and LED in filed, testing wrapping configurations
      o waiting for Helmholtz coil hook-up
  * looking at island algorithm from PrimEx
  * looking at the nuclear target physics program

    Mark D.

  * with Will McGinley, BCAL clustering, with George Vasileidis, BCAL
    timing (latter project being transferred to Regina)
  * BCAL efficiency study being planned
  * working on Bethe-Heitler simulation for letter of intent

  * changing scripts, builds, tests to accommodate new compiler version
  * working on NERSC for GlueX Simulation, feasibility study
  * dealing with issues with write-through cache with SciComp

    Paul

  * Physics Workshop[ big success, there is a YouTube channel
    <https://goo.gl/gWcZq4> with the talks.
  * reconstruction launch started 1 pm on Wed.
      o thanks to Sean Dobbs, Justin Stevens, and Alexander for work done
      o 6500 jobs, almost done, perhaps by Tue. afternoon
      o 3 crashes so far from 5000 jobs
      o launch scripts largely re-written
      o use access to EVIO files to do low-level efficiency studies
          + CDC, FDC, BCAL plugins written by Paul
          + produces trees to analyze
