    Announcements, Eugene

  * Post-doc position advertised on SPIRES, 4 applications, 2 strong
    candidates
  * Staff position: 8 applications, 2 strong ones
  * APS mini-symposium, Jane and Alexander are giving talks, apply for a
    slot if interested


    Engineering, Tim

  * target survey done this morning
      o downstream window where it was supposed to be
  * solenoid power supply transistor bank replacement 35% done
  * DIRC mechanical design underway


    TOF PMTs, Beni

  * we ran the TOF PMTs too hot, degradation during run observed,
    especially in the central region
  * noticed in falling efficiency
  * away from beamline, gain fell from 5 to 20%
  * with too much current there is anode degradation
  * on innermost difference between PARA and PERP intensity manifested
    in gain changes
  * need to reduce gain, set range for ADC to 500 mV max
  * 1300 V showed plateau, we ran at 1600 V
  * may have to replace PMTs
  * highest rate on inner thin counters: 1-1.5 MHz


    DIRC, Justin

  * Stephanie Worthington, Tim, John Frye are looking at design
      o design program completed to minimize material in front of FCAL
  * Fernando looking at testing electronics
      o reviewing CLAS 12 system, first production boards are in
      o INFN guy will come over and do testing
  * optical box: MIT doing the design
      o a bit distracted by Dark Light, but catching up
  * PMTs in budget for FY17
      o procurement planned for January, first ones should arrive in March
  * Will use box owned by Detector Group


    Level 3 Farm, David

  * procurement part of SciComp farm purchase
  * also will get new raid disk, another network switch


    Other Items

  * David: ROCs are on in Hall
  * Justin and Alexander: working on preparation for 3rd batch of
    reconstruction processing
  * Justin: MC fix for FCAL corrections merged in
