    Announcements, Eugene

  * Staff position decision made, names to HR
  * Patrizia: we have money for period up to Dec. 9


    Engineering, Tim

  * goni is here
      o install by this week, will be under vacuum
      o according to manufacturer: problems when operated in a small
        range, need to move over full range occasionally
      o need to re-lube once per year
  * target still retracted, but ready to put back in
  * comp cal had to be resurveyed, mistake in y, 1.7 mm


    DAQ, Sascha

  * feature: F125 threshold, fixed by Cody, caused mismatch with config file
  * new firmware installed for FDC
  * new discriminator firmware, allow bi-polar thresholds
      o backward compatible, old software will work
  * tagger trigger: bit assignments correct, no more VXS backplane problem
  * firmware upgraded, link, flash CTP,...
      o Hai and Ben working problem
  * global processing firmware for flash
      o trigger energy flow
      o stable right now
      o minor feature, wrong computation
      o working on correcting feature
  * after discriminators, will start cosmic run
  * FADC in reasonably good shape
  * high lum., 1 TDC, new firmware
      o Eugene: Sergey Furletov tested with fast link on a crate
      o F1 TDC not at high rate yet
  * Comp cal, Chris connect power supply
      o problems with batteries
      o look with scope, new PS installed
      o will check all channels and booster supplies
      o read of FADCs
      o next week cosmics


    Production, Alexander

  * 2 monitoring launches
     1. for time calibration
     2. checks
      o Mike Staib found discrepancies in geometry
      o Simon: further correction needed in x, some undoing in y
  * waiting on geometry for reconstruction launch
      o timing calibration fixed
      o hopefully this week
  * many new farm nodes at CentOS7
      o started testing over weekend, many failures
      o good availability though
