    Announcements, Eugene

  * Please finish your property validation. You know who you are.
  * Tornado preparation: please review 2-page instructions circulated
    earlier.
  * Summer students: those supervising students should let Eugene or
    Elton know, there are special rules applicable to undergraduate students
  * Safety incident: gate to Hall C beam dump was left unlocked. Take
    care with application of engineered controls to areas with potential
    activation.
  * Magnet will be warned to 80 K as soon as Cryo is ready (Tim)
  * Procurements: let Eugene know if there are needed items (greater
    than a few k$) this week.
  * PAC proposals:
      o JEF to be resubmit
      o K_L resubmit
      o Nuclear targets, color transparency
  * high intensity running review
      o compress mode, already analyzed (Sascha)
      o explore use of FCAL/BCAL/ST trigger, more stringent energy threshold
  * extant mystery: why is ρ yield so low? 1% of events, yet 10% of
    hadronic cross section
  * LHCb paper: Ω_c
