Announcements
Eugene:
* accelerator schedule is out
o accelerator readiness is on track, might be some tightening of
schedule
* ARM policy change, see Eugene's email to the group.
o rapid access will help
* Sascha and Scot Spiegel promoted, congratulations!
Preparations for Run
Eugene:
* U-tubes for solenoid going in today
* goni surveyed last week
* DIRC parts (water purification system) arrive this week
o other items pushed back
o frame parts arrive in November
Elton:
* New prototype muon chamber, 64" square
o downstream of FCAL platform
o may interfere with TAC measurement
o info being prepared on the DocDB
o operating instructions being added to wiki
o will be received in the EEL, staged there
o will be read-out with regular trigger
+ some special testing with TOF triggers planned
Sergey:
* TRD[?] may go in again
o need trigger hook-up, documentation
Hovanes:
* wires on goni already installed
Eugene:
* TPOL: no local owner right now
o JLab is buying TPOL hardware from ASU
o Alexandre volunteered for TPOL project
Sascha:
* PS crate needs re-assembly
* New firmware coming for the TIs, needs testing
Sergey:
* have started turning on data acquisition crates
Data Analysis
Eugene:
* high intensity running from Spring 2017 need full reprocessing
o Paul: this should take 3 weeks, with needed calibrations 5 weeks
Beni:
* looking tagger peak with PS triggers and physics trigger
o sees differences between high and low intensity running in
Spring 2017
o also dependence on diamond orientation
Elton:
* putting in geometry of CPP
* found code has assumption of 65 cm target position in several places
o in particular, plane of RF set there
o not all software components were consistent on this choice
+ problems now fixed as far as he can tell
