    Announcements, Eugene

  * For international conferences, a travel authorization has to be
    submitted even if the conference is virtual.
      o May take up to 10 days for approval, leave enough time
      o Mark D. cautioned us that his TA is being held up until two
        weeks before early registration, no action will be taken before then
  * proposal for EIC detectors due in Dec.
  * Accelerator: CHL 2K test went well
      o leak in cold compressor was fixed
  * Marco Battalieri will resigned as Hall B leader
  * Physics All-Hands meeting tomorrow
  * Transition to Medcon 3
      o today's memo encourages all staff to get vaccinated
  * rules for users to come on-site
      o before the run only on the AD's approved list allowed
      o no additional approval needed to take shifts
      o there will be a lot of demand for halld safety walk-throughs,
        will need coordination to arrange them
      o staff should continue to notify Eugene before coming to the Lab
  * Sascha: concerned about student getting reimbursed for ResFac expenses
      o Eugene: TA was signed


    Work in Hall, Tim

  * whiteboard will get populated with remaining tasks
  * hot checkout should start by the end of the week


    Positions, Eugene

  * committee made decision on candidate
      o approved by physics
      o HR approval next
  * another position will open up soon
      o description will depend on first hire
      o software maintenance and development will be a goal
