* work on DIRC mirrors continues
o there is a shortage of mirror cutting personnel on the
Peninsula, onto third company

* the are around the PS will be upgraded to accommodate detector testing
* removal of a lead brick will extend energy range to 3--6 GeV
* a vertical moving stage will allow detector retraction from the beam
level
* a horizontal stage will allow calorimeters to be tested at different
energies
* will use separate DAQ for read-out
* perhaps GEMs in front of the PS counters
* goal: get vertical stage in for August run
