Thanks Richard,
I posted your slides on the wiki page, and also added the minutes of yesterday's meeting :

Here are the slides that I shared today, with one adjustment. As requested, I have updated the left column in the quad-plots for each detector subsystem to correspond to the rate for the 10cm plug, instead of an average over all plug thicknesses that many found difficult to interpret.

Hi Richard,
Thanks a lot for the presentation today, it was extremely useful! Lubomir and I just discussed your presentation. Would you be able to add the 2D histograms for FDC where you show the hit number in the FDC vs FDC layer# and anode #wire to the PDF file (you had that in your slides on September 6th)? Lubomir would like to see these histograms for the nominal GlueX configuration and for KLF with a ~14cm tungsten plug. In both cases, the z-axes would need to be the number of FDC hits in a wire per 64 ns burst for the comparison to be valid. The worry here is that the average hit rate per FDC layer shown on the 1D histograms may not represent at all the occupancy for the wires near the beam pipe.
Thanks,
Hovanes.

Hi Richard,
we would love to see these results tomorrow, if you can connect. We will have some other topics to discuss tomorrow before going to GEANT4. But drive safely, there is going to be a meeting next week too, if you do not make it on time.
Thanks,
Hovanes.

Hello Hovanes,
I have completed the two assigned tasks from last week:
1. comparison with GlueX phase II rates
2. simulation without the conical extension on the start counter.
and the results are prepared for presentation. We are driving to Boston for the last day of DNP tomorrow morning, and expect to arrive sometime around 9:00 if the traffic is not too crazy. I will try to connect if I can get there in time for the meeting.
