[Halld-offline] switching to stand-alone HDDS

Folks,

The change has been made. See the wiki page referenced below the next 
time you want to update your private builds.

Note that there is a small, but important change in the instructions 
since I sent them out two days ago. There is only one additional 
environment variable you need to define (not two as was stated before), 
namely HDDS_HOME.

Please let me know if you have questions or problems with the upgrade.
