The PYTHIA record in the hdds format contains all the information
to decode the event. For every entry in the record there are:
1) PYTHIA entry number
2) Code (=1 - proceed to GEANT)
3) PDG flag (say 221 - eta)
4) GEANT particle type (or 0 if not defined in GEANT)
5) the parent number (see 1)), or 0 if the entry corresponds to the primary interation
BTW, in a sample of 400k simulated events I found about 60k eta and 10k eta' particles.
