[Halld-offline] critical patch for hdds-root_h

Mark,

I agree that this is an optional update.  If you get past the build, then
you have a defective binary, but at least it runs. The defect is that the
geometry information contained in the TGeoXX object list is incorrect.  I
don't know what uses this information in the reconstruction, or what is
important.
