[Halld-offline] sim-recon master branch watch/warning

Mark,

I was just looking at the outstanding pull requests, and it looks like they
are now trying to bring in a lot of changes not related to the PRs.  Could
this be related to whatever change you made?  Or something else?  I'm not
sure how to address them.
