Dear Collaborators,
The latest full reconstruction launch over 2016-02 data (ver06) is
complete. Thanks to the recent additions to the JLab farm, we were able
to process 2MCPUh in about 10 days. Only 3 files could not be processed
successfully (< 0.02%). All output files are pinned to the cache disk
for now, even though we will be forced to delete them soon in order to
make space for 2017-01 ver03.
For this launch, we used exactly the same reconstruction software stack
as for the currently running 2017-01 REST ver03. We will start a
ReactionFilter launch with an initial set of channels soon. A larger
analysis launch is planned afterwards.
The software stack used for these reconstruction launches can be found here:
The REST files (18,895 files, 48TB) can be found here:
/cache/halld/RunPeriod-2016-02/recon/ver06/REST/
A subset with photons in the coherent peak (18,861 files, 12TB) was
produced:
/cache/halld/RunPeriod-2016-02/recon/ver06/dana_rest_coherent_peak/
For realistic background in simulations, we extracted the random
triggers and converted the signals to hddm:
/cache/halld/RunPeriod-2016-02/recon/ver06/converted_random/
The histograms and efficiency trees can be found here:
/cache/halld/RunPeriod-2016-02/recon/ver06/{hists,tree*}
A subfolder with merged histograms and trees is included in each folder.
The results are also visible on the newly refurbished plot browser:

Best regards,
Alex
