[Halld-offline] reminder: IT DIVISION MAINTENANCE - MARCH 17

On Tuesday, March 17, from 5-10 p.m, the IT Division will be conducting 
maintenance type activities
on the central systems. During this time, there will be short network 
outages for systems and devices in the northern area of the TestLab 
High Bay and all of the TED High Bay. There will also be short 
outages to some Cisco phones in CEBAF Center and the SSC. There will be 
outages to the local send mail server while software is upgraded to a 
newer version. During this outage, some users will be unable to send 
email. All email outages will be complete no later than 8 p.m.

Additionally, there will be patches to Windows and Linux desktop systems 
and servers. We will reboot Windows and Linux servers overnight to 
finalize patches causing intermittent outages while the systems reboot. 
Please plan your work accordingly.  All systems and servers will be 
available Wednesday, March 18, by 7 a.m. Finally, please plan to reboot 
your Common User Environment (CUE) managed desktop no later than Friday, 
March 20, to finalize local patch installations. For questions, contact
