*CST DIVISION MAINTENANCE - SEPT. 21*
The CST Division will have a maintenance period on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 5-8
p.m.
During this time:

   - Windows and Linux patches will be released to all managed
   systems. Please plan to reboot your Windows or Linux desktop no later than
   Friday, Sept. 24.
   - The file servers in use by Business Services will be upgraded. This
   upgrade should be transparent with no outage expected.
   - There will be short network outages across the site while network
   equipment is upgraded.
   - There will also be a brief outage to Cisco Jabber as backend servers
   are updated.
   - Finally, please consider connecting to the JLab VPN during the next
   week or so. It is a good idea to connect to the JLab VPN at least once a
   month. Connecting to the JLab VPN shortly after the division maintenance
   period is a good time to do so.
