[Halld-offline] [EXTERNAL] Fwd: new PR to fix bug in bggen_upd

Thanks to Igal for reporting this bug in bggen_upd that made it sometimes:

   - generate particles far from their physical masses
   - segfault under mysterious circumstances
   - sometimes seemed to run ok but produced spurious momenta

In my investigation of this bug I encountered all of the above
symptoms under various conditions.

The PR is waiting on github, probably should be a priority to get this
change propagated to the MC container in case people are actively using
bggen_upd for trigger or reconstruction development.
