Hi Richard,

Thanks for the comments and corrections. I will implement them in the 
text and
send you a new version within a couple of weeks. One thing that somewhat 
concerns me
is not being able to monitor the values of voltages and currents at any 
stage. Therefore, with
such a design we will not be able to set alarms on these quantities to 
alert the shift personnel
about any problems with the SiPM voltages. How difficult would it be to 
add ADCs to be able to read
these back and report them on request for each SiPM? In general, we need 
to define how we are
going to be continuously monitor the functionality of the microscope 
detector so that no
significant beam time (which is expensive) is lost due to data-taking 
with malfunctioning
detector.
