[Halld-online] Online meeting Jan 29, 2014

Hi Alex,

   I understand what you are saying. I do have a concern though that the communication between
 the various groups (trigger, DAQ, controls, monitoring) will deteriorate if we do
decide to give up on the big picture meeting and retreat to small groups with little
overlap in the people attending them. The bi-weekly collaboration meeting is OK for quick status
reports, but not appropriate if there is a need for any real discussion.  Breaking things
apart necessarily creates cracks into which things may fall.

  I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Let’s have a brief meeting on Wednesday and decide
then how to move forward. If the Wednesday meeting needs to become something
more specialized on say DAQ and online monitoring, then we can consider that.
Perhaps you could also tell us why we need 3 trigger meetings ;)
