Given the ongoing commissioning and collaboration meeting this week, I suggest we cancel today’s DIRC meeting.
Over the last ~10 days we’ve identified and addressed a firmware issue, which allowed us to collect data under close to the High Intensity conditions we expect for GlueX-II (5e7 photons/s in the coherent peak). A detailed list of the datasets collected at different intensities and threshold settings can be found at https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Spring_2019_DIRC_Commissioning#Production_datasets.
In total we will collect ~10 billion triggers with DIRC included in the readout during this commissioning period, which should allow us to address our commissioning goals, some of which have already been posted in the logbook and shown at RC meetings.
Initial calibrations are in place and a production of REST files with the recent data is currently underway. More to follow after we wrap-up our commissioning beamtime and at our next meeting on March 5th (after some of us have caught up on sleep).
