Hi Paul et al.,
The note from Chris below, from what I can tell, addresses only the
issue of integrating the TDCs into the readout (i.e receiving trigger
signals, gates, etc), but not the use of the TDCs as inputs to the
trigger. From the beginning the tof were considered to be used as inputs
to the trigger, but I know that Sasha's simulation showed that
calorimeter inputs may be sufficient. However, I don't know if we want
to eliminate this option, or at least this should be considered in the
decision.
