[Halld-pid] Fwd: ST readout update

I've been working on implementing the start counter into the simulation
and to do so I needed a drawing of the region of the beam line near the
target. This drawing shows a 6" ID aluminum beam pipe within a few
centimeters of the upstream end of the start counter. At the end of
this beam pipe is a conical section that slopes down to the radius of
the target vessel. In fact the start counter appears to rest on (or
come very close to) part of the beam pipe in this region. Unless I am
not understanding some aspect of the geometry, it looks like the ST2
board cannot fit in the region indicated by the drawing on the last page
of Fernando's document as drawn. Furthermore there is only about 2 cm
clearance between the inner shell of the cdc and the 6" beam pipe.
