Andrew,
I have generated the following MC samples using my BH generator. The output
is saved in the following directory.
/volatile/halld/jonesrt/BHgen-6-2021
Files are labeled based on a couple of different distinctions. All sets
were generated with a minimum pair mass of 100 MeV/c2. There are 10 billion
beam photons per model, originally produced in 10000 runs with event
numbers 1...1000000 in each. Event numbers 1...500000 are for PERP (90
degree) and 500001...1000000 are generated in the PARA (0 degree)
orientation, both with 100% linear beam polarization. Only about 1/4 of the
beam photons make it through the collimator to the GlueX target, but the
ones that do make it convert at a random spot along the target with 100%
efficiency. The unfiltered generated events take up a lot of space and I
didn't think you would want to read them so I only transferred the sets
with various cuts applied that I think you would want, see below. If you
find files spaced out every 100 in sequence number, it's because I merged
them in sets of 100 already.
1. the BH model : run series number (or suffix sN) in the filename
distinguishes them as
- 20000-29999 or s2 if merged = The prior configuration:
F1_timelike = 1;
F2_timelike = 0;
F1_spacelike = nucleonFormFactor(-t, kF1p);
F2_spacelike = nucleonFormFactor(-t, kF2p);
- 60000-69999 or s6 if merged = No Compton diagrams, 100MeV/c2 pair
mass threshold
F1_timelike = 0;
F2_timelike = 0;
F1_spacelike = nucleonFormFactor(-t, kF1p);
F2_spacelike = nucleonFormFactor(-t, kF2p);
- 70000-79999 or s7 if merged = No Compton, no magnetic spacelike,
100MeV/c2 pair mass threshold
F1_timelike = 0;
F2_timelike = 0;
F1_spacelike = nucleonFormFactor(-t, kF1p);
F2_spacelike = 0;
- 80000-89999 or s8 if merged = Only Compton diagrams, 100MeV/c2 pair
mass threshold
F1_timelike = 1;
F2_timelike = 1;
F1_spacelike = 0;
F2_spacelike = 0;
- 90000-99999 or s9 if merged = Only Compton-Dirac, 100MeV/c2 pair
mass threshold
F1_timelike = 1;
F2_timelike = 0;
F1_spacelike = 0;
F2_spacelike = 0;
- 100000-109999 or s10 if merged t= Only Compton-Sigma, 100MeV/c2
pair mass threshold
F1_timelike = 0;
F2_timelike = 1;
F1_spacelike = 0;
F2_spacelike = 0;
2. the reduction factor : certain cuts that you commonly use in your
analysis were applied, followed by an accept-reject filter to reduce the
low-weight events by an approximate factor without statistically biasing
the overall sample sum of weights.
- r1 = applies Theta_lab > 0.75deg, target=proton, Ebeam in (8,9)GeV
- r10 = r1 sample + accept/reject reduction factor 10
- r100 = r1 sample + accept/reject reduction factor 100
- r1k = r1 sample + accept/reject reduction factor 1000
- r10k = r1 + accept/reject reduction factor 10000
Example: BHgen_s2r10k.hddm contains model s2 events with r1 cuts applied,
then passed through a 10k accept/reduction filter. BHgen_20900r1.hddm is
the 10'th file out of 100 in series s2 reduction r1.
