[Halld] Run Status

Hi All,

  Just a quick update on the run status:

- We have been pretty successful with the beam since the retune. Harp scans have consistently shown it to
  be clean and pretty narrow. Even with 3 hall running which was a pleasant surprise.

- Friday afternoon we had a solenoid trip. The current thinking is that the cause was in the power supply
  but it is not completely clear. Some of the data from the fast monitoring of the magnet was lost so
  we are a little blind to some of the details. Nonetheless, the magnet experts repaired the one issue with
  the power supply and ramped the magnet up in record time. Trip happened just before 3pm and the
  magnet was back up and ready by 9:30pm.

- A few special runs were done yesterday and today as well as production running overnight. The run plan
  calls for continued production running tonight and tomorrow with a few hours of trigger studies and
  a couple of short TRD runs during the day on Sunday.

There does not seem to be a strong need for a meeting Sunday morning so I’m going to cancel the RC
meeting. We will meet on Monday for our usual 8:45 meeting.
