[Halld] JLab Open House

Hi All,

A couple of things regarding the JLab Open House this Saturday:

1. If you volunteered but were not able to attend the training session, there are a couple of more
opportunities indicated in the e-mail below. This is where you get to pick up your T-shirt and
parking pass.

2. If you’re volunteering or just attending the Open House, there is an App for that! There is a JLab
Open House app available for both Android and iOS. It has a few things on it, including maps.
Volunteers in particular may want to have this loaded since it may help answer questions from
visitors.

3. People who are volunteering for the first time this year, I am not assigning specific stations in
Hall-D. When you come, just enter Hall-D and coordinate with others in the area. People who
were here 2 years ago will know how that worked and should give advice to “newbies”.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Regards,
-David

> Jefferson Lab’s Open House is scheduled for Saturday, April 30. The Open House is the lab’s most important and largest public outreach effort. The key to the event's success is our volunteers. Many volunteer positions have been filled, but we still need help on April 30. Non-exempt employees will be paid, with advance approval from their supervisors.
