[Halld] Closing the Hall, Standby shift recall.

Dear collaborators,

We will be closing the tagger vault/Hall today (Thu. 02/04) at 3pm. Everyone should be done with his/her work by 2pm today to allow time for sweeping the Hall. (If you attended the RC meeting this morning, the plan to close earlier, at noon is now obsolete). If this time is too soon because you are not done with a critical part of our preparation, please let me know (757-383-5542). Tonight, accelerator expects to send beam to the tagger vault to finish some optics work, calibrate our Ion Chambers and possibly start the fast feedback commissioning.

The expectation from accelerator is to deliver beam for physics sometime tomorrow afternoon (Friday). Consequently, some of the standby shifts are cancelled and the counting room should be manned starting Friday, Feb. 5th at noon.
