[Halld] Delay in run start-up; shift status changes

Colleagues,

We learned this morning that a vacuum problem was discovered in the 
south linac which will delay cool down of the machine. The location of 
the leak is not known; the delay could be as much as  a few days.

The original plan was for beam to come back on Thursday. With this delay 
shifts are now canceled from now until 4 pm Thursday, and on standby 
after that until 4 pm Friday. Stay tuned for possible changes as we 
learn more.
