[Halld] Update on operations and shifts

Dear Collaborators,

It was announced at the MCC meeting this afternoon that the 2 cavities of the RF separator will not be re-installed during this run period. Running will continue with only Hall A. Accelerator performed very well within this 1 one-hall operation, with about 75% efficiency over the last 7 days and about 115h of usable beam for Hall A.
We are still hoping to have a week of beam at the end of the period, principally to test the DAQ/trigger and the new diamonds. However, there is no decision of the management on that yet.

The shift schedule is now the following:

Shifts are cancelled until Monday, Dec. 5th, 8am.
Next shifts are on Standby until Wednesday, Dec. 14th, 8am.
Next shifts remains regular shifts.

If you are not close to JLab and your shifts are on stand-by, please contact me and the PDL (Benedickt Zihlmann) before booking your plane ticket.
