[Halld] Fall 17 run update and shifts status

Dear GlueX-Collaborators,

Yesterday was spent trying to understand some beam transport problems around arc 4. There was also a CHL crash due to a cold box trip. It was promptly recovered in 2h30. Currently, the beam is still in arc 8, the same location as 24h ago. The updated expectation is to have the beam on the tagger dump sometime tomorrow (Thu.) morning. Then RF separation for Halls D and B will follow, as well as tunning for Halls A, B and C. Photon beam in Hall D is expected late Friday. 

The Hall is presently still in restricted access. The earliest it may go to controlled access is sometimes this evening. 

Today's shifts are cancelled as well as Thursday's owl shift. Thursday day shift is on standby. Later shifts remain regular shifts.

There will be a MCC scheduling meeting at 1:30pm. I will inform you of any update that may be given.
