[Halld] Hall D shifts on standby until Tuesday, 8am

Dear Collaborators,

A vacuum leak developed in the RF separator. The accelerator crew decided to delay investigations to tomorrow since it requires a tunnel access. At the moment, the beam is separated magnetically, which means that it is not available to Hall D. Accelerator staff is devising a plan to address this problem but there is little chance to see beam delivered to Hall D until sometime tomorrow (Tuesday 27th). Consequently, shifts are on standby until tomorrow (Tuesday 27th) 8am, with regular shifts resuming at 8am.

Shifts might be recall if a minimally invasive solution is found. So if you are in standby this evening and tonight, please let me and the PDL (Beni) know your contact number.
