[Halld] Sunday update on the run

Dear Collaborators,


We are doing well so far: The DIRC commissioning phase 1 has started yesterday afternoon and some production data were taken last night (commissioning phase 2).

The only items that remain to do from the start of the run plan is to check the diamond alignment and finish the Pair Spectrometer threshold scan. We expect these tasks to be done this morning (Sunday, 02/10), providing that the beam complies.

So overall, we are so far on schedule.


There is the possibility of an access of a few hours Monday morning starting at 8am. If you would like to go in, please email me.


As things are proceeding smoothly, there will be no run meeting today. We will have our usual run meeting on Monday morning, 8:45am.
