[Halld] Update+Hall locking at 5pm tomorrow

Dear Collaborators,


There is a two days delay in the start of the physics program. Beam for physics is now expected to come on Friday, Feb. 1st. However, the current plan is still to close Hall D late Tuesday, Jan. 29th, to allow for final beam tuning.


Furthermore, the hall will be locked tomorrow (Thursday, Jan 23rd) at 5pm for the night for DC power.


Beside getting the accelerator ready, Accelerator staffs are working on bringing back cavities in order to meet the set energy with an acceptable trip rate. This can affect the schedule depending on how well this goes.
