With CEBAF Performance Plan funding, we have been able to purchase a newer, faster, bigger server to host our mysql databases. The last remaining database to migrate over to the new database server is logbooks which because of its size which will require some modest down time while the data is being moved.

The current plan is to use the current lull in operations resulting from the pause to repair the 1L09/1L10 vacuum leak and perform the database switch this Thursday evening.  As planned there would be a logbooks outage starting around 4:30PM and concluding no later than 6:00 PM, but probably far sooner.

Please let me know if there are circumstances within the halls that would preclude doing the planned work.
