Update for the MEDCON5 condition:
a) It may be declared in a matter of days. The situation is volatile.
b) The plan is to run the accelerator. However, a long-term success of such a plan will depend on the availability of the staff to run the Lab.
c) People will be STRONGLY discouraged to appear on site. The only reason will be to take shifts, repair the stuff needed for running, and maintain the critical systems (gas, cryo etc).
d) The local users will be allowed to come to run shifts. So far there was no request from the management to provide a list of names.
e) About single-person shifts: To make sure that the single workers are OK, video cameras will be installed in each of 4 counting houses on Monday. It will be the responsibility of the halls rather than the MCC to make sure that there is no problem with the shift workers in other halls.

Addendum:
I assume that at MEDCON5 the beam operations will continue and the local people will be able to take shifts.

Subject: [Halld] Some info concerning the Lab plans at different MED conditions
Hi all,
Not all the details of the Lab's policy are available at this moment. A few known details may be of general interest:
"According to our policy, the conditions that will cause
us to advance to MEDCON5 are a) an outbreak in the immediate
area of the Lab, b) someone working at the Lab contracts
the illness or c) DOE mandates the change."
At MEDCON5 the computer center will be kept operational.
Only the "essential" staff will be allowed to certain areas (say, to the counting house).
It may occur that there will be no access to the Cebaf Center for nearly everybody.
At MEDCON6 the computer center will be left working and managed only remotely.
