Subject: One person shifts in Halls B and D

You should have received an email from Walt indicating that the cameras are operational. There are a few things to improve with the certificates but at this moment, the important point is that shift personnel in Hall A can view the feed from Hall D and vice versa, the two halls taking shifts at this moment. With this in mind, Rolf has given the go ahead to start the proposed one person shifts in Halls B and D.

For redundancy, I have enclosed again the memo and shift policy. Could you please make sure the Run Coordinators add them to the running experiment documents and instructs shift takers of the changes. The effect on Halls A and C of this change is to expand the functions of the shift takers to keep an eye on the shift takers of the other halls.

For Halls B and D, please make sure that if a special phone number is to be used by the Program Deputy, MCC staff or the other halls to reach the single shift taker, that number is known to them. Otherwise confusion will reign.
